The Alexandria Area Soccer Association works to promote a fun, fair and safe environment that maximizes participation and ultimately improves players’ skills while developing sportsmanship, teamwork and self-confidence. Whether new to soccer or an experienced player, fall soccer is the place for you. The fall season consists of five sessions on Sunday afternoons/evenings.

Equipment needed: shin pads are required & soccer cleats are suggested as well as water bottles

Dates: 

Sunday afternoons/evenings from September 10 - October 8, 2023

Session Times:

• U5/6 - 4:00 - 4:45 pm
• U7/8 - 5:00 - 6:00 pm
• U9/10* - 6:10 - 7:10 pm
• U11/12 - 4:00 - 5:00 pm

*We need to have one U9/10 BOYS game from 5:00 - 6:00 pm so if any of those boys have younger siblings playing at either 4:00 or 5:00 pm, we ask that they please come at 5 pm.

Program Format:

U5/6 - Session will include skills-based games, relays and fun activities to teach basic knowledge of passing and moving the ball. Key skills that will be focused on include passing, dribbling, shooting, trapping or receiving passes.

U7/8 - Sessions will include skills based games and activities for the first 30 minutes followed by small-sided scrimmages for the last 30 minutes.  Key skills that will be focused on include passing, dribbling, shooting, trapping or receiving passes along with finding open space to receive passes, throw-ins and goal kicks.

U9/10 - This will be a scrimmage-based season with 7x7 format with goalies. Coaches will point out opportunities for changes or improvement or teach game rules during the run of play. Full game rules will be applied with 8-10 players on each team.

U11/12 - This will be a scrimmage-based season with 7x7 format with goalies. Coaches will point out opportunities for changes or improvement or teach game rules during the run of play. Full game rules will be applied with 8-10 players on each team.
